Islamabad : The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry is engaged in relief activities for the flood victims in this difficult time. The Vice President FPCCI Capital Office Islamabad and Pak China Youth Exchange Community have jointly distributed relief material among the victims of the flood. On this occasion Amin Ullah Baig said that this was the worst flood in history and caused heavy losses to our entire country.
The Vice President FPCCI appreciated the efforts of the Former President of Gilgit Chamber of Commerce Mushtaq Hussain for arranging relief goods from Chinese donors and the members of the Gilgit, Hunza, Ghazir and Skardu Chambers of Commerce for distribution among the floor victims.
He said that the FPCCI under the leadership of President Irfan Iqbal Sheikh and Chairman Businessmen Panel Mian Anjum Nisar had immediately started funds rasing and on large scale for the arrangement of basic necessities including tents, cloths, shoes/sleeper, for food items, infants’ food, blankets and other necessary items. He said that a big quantity of these items had immediately been distributed in various areas of Gilgit Baltistan on a large scale. He further said that we will not leave our brothers alone in this difficult time. The FPCCI will also help out the flood victims in their rehabilitation across the country.
He said that through the platform of FPCCI, the business Community of country as well as foreigners are also contributed their share for this good cause. He appreciated the Chinese business people who helped us a lot and said that China has again proved that it is a real and true friend of Pakistan, for which we pay tribute to the Chinese government, businessmen and people.
