On the National Day of China, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif sent wishes to President Xi Jinping, Premier Li Keqiang, and the Chinese people.
He said in a series of tweets that the peaceful ascent of China to become the second-largest economy and the world’s dominant force is a source of stability in a world that is constantly changing.
According to the prime minister, China represents a promise of hope for the developing world, which is grappling with several issues involving the environment, economics, food, and energy.
As the guiding concept in the creation of a Community of Common Destiny, he claimed that the Chinese model of inter-state interactions promotes collaboration over confrontation.
The Prime Minister expressed his admiration for the Chinese people’s remarkable work ethic and sense of national discipline. This, he claimed, explains how China was able to save 800 million people from extreme poverty.
Shehbaz Sharif claimed that by putting greater emphasis on work, Pakistan can also emerge from difficulties.
