China has reaffirmed its commitment to aiding the Pakistani people in recovering from the floods and quickly rebuilding their houses.
According to Wang Wenbin, a spokeswoman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry, China has come to Pakistan’s help since the floods ravaged the nation, acting as its true friend and brother in times of need.
The spokeswoman said that in addition to the Chinese government’s approximately $55 million in humanitarian relief, China’s civil society had also contributed.
According to the spokeswoman, economic and financial cooperation between China and Pakistan has been successful.
