A new platform has been made available by the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in an effort to make the pilgrimage to Mecca and Medina more convenient for those who want to participate in it.
The Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which includes plans to improve the nation’s tourism and travel sector, is in accordance with the new unified government platform Nusuk, which was unveiled on Monday.
With its array of services, the portal is positioned to serve as a gateway to Mecca and Medina, enabling users to design their own Umrah itineraries.
The website claims that using Nusuk would make it simple for visitors from around the world to plan their whole trip, from eVisa applications to hotel and aircraft reservations.
The website has all the information and facts that pilgrims require to have a smooth visit. For instance, it provides travellers with a variety of lodging, tourist attractions, and holy places to choose from.
Along with interactive maps that make the booking process easier, it also describes the various modes of transportation that travellers may use to get to the cities.
According to a statement on the platform’s official Twitter account, “Nusuk provides information and a wide range of services for pilgrims and guests, enabling them to fulfil the Umrah rites with ease and comfort.”
According to the statement, the platform was established in collaboration and partnership with the Saudi Tourism Authority. “Nusuk.sa is linked to the services provided on the ‘Visit Saudi Arabia’ [section] to enrich the pilgrims’ journey and facilitate reservation and communication procedures to provide various packages and programmes to improve the experience of visitors travelling to Mecca and Medina,” the statement read.
