Six Pakistan Army officers, including two majors, were killed after a helicopter crashed while on a flying assignment in Harnai, Balochistan, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Monday.
The six people on board, including the two pilots, have accepted martyrdom, the military’s propaganda wing said.
Major Khurram Shahzad, a 39-year-old Attock native, was one of the killed officers. Major Muhammad Muneeb Afzal, 30, was a Rawalpindi inhabitant.
Subedar Abdul Wahid, 44, was a citizen of Karak. Khanewal inhabitant Sepoy Muhamad Imran, age 27.
Both Naik Jalil, 30, and Sepoy Shoaib, 35, were residents of the Kharian and Attock districts, respectively.
