At the lslamabad International Airport on Friday, Pakistan Customs seized imported fancy phones and Apple laptops worth roughly Rs. 64 million.
According to information, travellers arriving from Dubai had their imported luxury phones, including iPhones and MacBook Pros, seized by customs agents.
The passengers communicated with the Customs representatives stationed at the airport to clear the massive number of iPhones and MacBook Pros.
According to sources, Additional Collector Asim Rehman, however, thwarted the attempt to clear non-duty paid commodities and seized the merchandise.
According to sources, the department is looking into the situation further.
