The infrastructure of the Universal Service Fund has been harmed in all four provinces by the floods. The flood had considerable impact on 686 Universal Service Fund (USF) facilities that offer voice and high-speed mobile internet services to USF target locations.
Floods in Pakistan have damaged 686 USF sites
As of August 30, 686 USF locations were reportedly impacted by rain and flooding, according to the document. 609 of these sites were restored in just two weeks because to the tireless efforts of the Universal Service Fund and its service provider teams.
The floods in the Balochistan province, where 321 USF sites were impacted, were the worst for the USF network. In Sindh, 203 USF sites were impacted, 212 sites in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and 40 sites in the province of Punjab.
