Imran Khan, a former prime minister and current head of the PTI, has claimed that his so-called “true freedom” movement, which he led in support of an independent foreign policy and against elite capture, was the largest in the nation’s history following the Pakistan Movement.
“No one readily grants freedom. To gain independence, one must make sacrifices and practise jihad. He mentioned this while speaking at an event in Islamabad on Thursday. “Those who have occupied this system are abusing our country,” he remarked.
Without mentioning any specific individuals, the former premier claimed that those groups that had acquired billions of rupees by squandering the nation’s resources would not readily grant independence.
“After our forebears created this nation through struggle, this movement for Haqeqi Azadi [genuine freedom] is the biggest movement in the country’s history,” he said.
Imran, who was removed from office in April due to a vote of no confidence, stated that worshipping an idol was wrong and that bowing down to a “idol of fear” was also wrong.
His “true freedom movement’s” goal was to be explained to the populace, thus he encouraged party members to go door to door and do so.
The PTI leader claimed that while lawmakers were busy changing the legislation to save themselves from responsibility, the imported government had plunged the populace into a sea of inflation.
