Lahore: At the Chief Minister’s Office, Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi met with Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervez Elahi.

The MPhil classes will be held in collaboration with Madina University, Jamia Al-Azhar, and other prominent universities in the world of Islam.
Sirat Academy will be made the centre of decisions regarding religion. Research work regarding religion and the curriculum will also be done in Sirat Academy. Efforts will be made for inter-religious and inter-faith harmony.
The restoration work of flood-affected mosques and madrasas will also be done. He said that all efforts would be made to create a national consensus for the restoration and resettlement of the flood victims. Arab countries and their institutions will facilitate relief activities for flood victims in Punjab. A transparent procedure has been devised to help the flood victims. The Chairman of the Pakistan Ulema Council, Maulana Tahir Ashrafi, praised the efforts of Chief Minister Pervez Elahi for the flood victims.
Tahir Ashrafi stated that Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervez Elahi’s contributions to religion will be remembered forever. The United Ulema Board supports the government’s decision to implement the Act.
