Imran Khan, the chairman of the PTI and a former prime minister, declared on Tuesday that he had had enough of the “cabal of crooks” the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) was using to spread false information about him.
Khan’s latest remarks against the military and its senior commanders have drawn harsh criticism from PDM, the ruling parties that have constituted the government after Khan was removed as prime minister in April.
The PTI chairman’s Faisalabad jalsa speech, in which he implied that if a “patriotic” army head were chosen, he would not spare the current rulers, infuriated the military forces, who were equally outraged.
