Zaka Ashraf retracts her statement about the “dushman mulk,” and the PCB clarifies it

Following Zaka Ashraf’s contentious remark on India when Pakistan’s players landed in the nation for the 2023 World Cup, the PCB released a statement.

As Babar Azam’s side gets ready to compete in the 2023 World Cup beginning on October 5, the Pakistani cricket team was welcomed warmly upon arrival in India. As Pakistan’s team touched down in India on Wednesday, a sizable crowd of supporters gathered at the Hyderabad airport and began to sing the names of the players, especially Babar. However, shortly after the team arrived in India, Zaka Ashraf, the head of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), inadvertently referred to India as the “enemy nation.”

The PCB has announced an increase in player salaries the day before their arrival. Ashraf continued by saying that the players would be more motivated as they prepared for the World Cup in a nation some may regard to be a “enemy” because of the rise in central contracts.

Ashraf’s remarks received a lot of criticism from cricket fans on both sides of the border. The BCCI authorities (per PTI) and the PCB later on Friday clarified Ashraf’s remarks. In reference to Pakistan’s outstanding reception in India, Ashraf claimed that it demonstrated the intense love that fans of both teams have for their respective players.

The reception held at the airport in Hyderabad was proof of this devotion. Zaka Ashraf personally commended the Indians for planning such a celebration. He remarked that India and Pakistan always appear as traditional rivals but not as adversaries when they play cricket together.

The Chairman of the Management Committee further stressed that cricket matches between Pakistan and India have consistently drawn attention from throughout the world, making those matches more important than other matches in this sport.

Due to the strained relations between the two nations, the two teams compete against one another in ICC tournaments and the Asia Cup. However, the players get along well with one another. At the Hyderabad airport, Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, and Haris Rauf were thrilled by the reception.

Ashraf is anticipated to attend the highly anticipated India-Pakistan match on October 14 in Ahmedabad.

Chairman Management Committee further stressed that cricket between Pakistan and India has consistently drawn interest from around the world, which is why cricket between the two countries.

Webb telescope looks towards our neighbour in the galaxy and observes a cosmic extravaganza.

The powerful James Webb Space Telescope was pointed at “NGC 6822,” one of the nearest galaxies to Earth.

It is an incredible sight, filled with an infinite amount of stars. The Milky Way is one of the largest galaxies in our local group, which includes NGC 6822, also known as “Barnard’s Galaxy,” and about 25 other galaxies. The Webb telescope, the most powerful space telescope ever built, was able to observe such brilliant detail in this galactic close-up because the local galaxy is quite close by at about 1.5 million light-years away.

Webb’s instruments can collect an infrared wavelength released by far-off objects without interference from other nearby radiation sources, such as the telescope’s warm electronics, because they can work at extremely cold temperatures of minus 448 degrees Fahrenheit or even lower.

The European Space Agency, along with NASA and the Canadian Space Agency, manages the telescope. “The power of Webb’s ice-cold infrared instruments and the incredible resolution of its primary mirror is necessary to examine stars hidden in dusty environments, and the results as shown here are spectacular,” the agency said.

An incredible star field can be seen in this photo, where stars can be seen almost everywhere. While the stars that are further away are visible in warmer hues like orange, yellow, and red, the brightest stars are depicted in cyan or pastel blue.

  • Blue orb: To the left of the reddish gas clouds in the image’s left centre is a brilliant blue orb. This is a large star cluster known as a “globular cluster.”

Cases of conjunctivitis decline, but fears of a resurgence persist

Ophthalmologists in the major city of Karachi have noted a decline in conjunctivitis instances, but they also note that concerns about a future resurgence of the virus still exist. There are currently 100 cases of conjunctivitis every day at the Civil Hospital and 60 cases per day at JPMC.

Dr. Khalid Sheikh, the hospital’s medical superintendent, has made sure that the essential medications are available owing to the ongoing pandemic, according to Dr. Haris, the hospital’s additional medical superintendent. Although there has been a decrease in occurrences, he told The Express Tribune that there are still about 100 cases recorded every day, which calls for sustained vigilance.

Ophthalmologists at JPMC Drs. Pawan Kumar and Sabir Hussain noted that conjunctivitis is easily transmitted through contact with infected people. Sharing personal goods like towels, soaps, and tissues helps spread disease.

Itching, irritation, redness, and profuse watery ocular discharge are all typical conjunctivitis symptoms. Early on in the illness, the pain is frequently so intense that those who are infected may feel driven to wipe their eyes. However, the soreness and ripping stop after about four days.

They advised against rubbing the eyes while the virus is present. They advise rinsing the eyes with cold water if the irritation is significant to hasten the healing process. The pink eye virus typically leaves the body in eight to ten days.

competition between China and India on the moon

According to a leading Chinese scientist, China’s Chang’e-6 lander will arrive reach the south pole of the moon before India’s Chandrayaan-3 in 2024.

Early in 2024, it announced, a satellite to relay communications to and from the moon, known as Queqiao 2, or Magpie BridgSome analysts claimed that China has a possibility to be a pioneer in this field and that, despite some prior reports, India cannot credibly claim to have reached the lunar south pole.

The CNSA predicted that Chang’e-6 will be launched in 2025 last year. Earlier this year, it altered the deadline to be between 2024 and 2025; as of right moment, the new goal is for 2019.
The most recent announcement from the CNSA fell on the mid-autumn festival, which was inspired by Chang’e, the moon goddess, in Chinese mythology.

There are two things regarding India’s moon lander that need to be made clear. First, the landing position is incorrectly described. In a recent interview with the China Science Daily, Ouyang stated that “second, people are overly hopeful about the occurrence of ‘water ice’ near the south pole.

It is incorrect to claim that India has reached the south pole or is even near to it, according to Chandrayaan-3, which is at least 619 km from the south polar region of the moon.

US-Saudi defense agreement linked to agreement with Israel; Palestinian demands ignored

According to Reuters, which cited three sources with knowledge of the situation, Saudi Arabia is determined to securing a military agreement with the US that would require the US to defend the kingdom in exchange for establishing diplomatic ties with Israel.

The kingdom is committed to carry out the agreement even if Israel does not give the Palestinians major concessions in their quest for statehood.

US-Saudi defense agreement linked to agreement with Israel; Palestinian demands ignored

While discussing the pact with US President Joe Biden during Biden’s visit to Saudi Arabia in July 2022, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS) expressed the kingdom’s initial hopes for a level of robust defense guarantees comparable to those offered by NATO.

Instead, a US source suggested that it would resemble the accords Washington has with Asian nations or, if that were to fail to win US Congress approval, it might resemble a deal with Bahrain, the home of the US Navy Fifth Fleet. Congress wouldn’t have to approve such a deal.

The US source claimed that Washington might further sweeten any agreement by giving Israel’s status of Major Non-NATO Ally to Saudi Arabia.

In the event of an attack, such as the 2019 missile strikes on its oil sites, Saudi Arabia demands US protection. Iran, the kingdom’s regional adversary, is held responsible for the assaults by both Riyadh and Washington, despite Tehran’s denials.

Agreements uniting two longtime enemies and tying Riyadh to Washington after China’s intrusions in the region would transform the Middle East by providing protection to the world’s largest oil exporter in exchange for normalization with Israel.

It would be a diplomatic triumph for Biden to celebrate before the 2024 presidential race.

Israel may relax some of its limitations on the Palestinians, but such actions wouldn’t fulfill their hopes for a state.

The three regional sources acquainted with the negotiations indicated that, similar to prior Arab-Israeli agreements negotiated over the years, the Palestinians’ primary desire for statehood will be subordinated.

“The normalization will take place between Saudi Arabia and Israel. The kingdom will keep on its current course even if the Palestinians object, according to one of the local sources. Saudi Arabia is in favor of a Palestinian peace plan, but this time it also has Saudi Arabia’s interests in mind.

Email inquiries regarding this piece were not answered by either the Saudi government or the US State Department.

Male heart disease risk is doubled by work stress; follow these vital heart health guidelines

According to a recent study published in the journal Circulation: Cardiovascular Quality, heart disease and Outcomes, work stress can have a negative impact on men’s heart health, particularly when the difficult working conditions are not matched with adequate pay. The study found conflicting results regarding how work stress affects women. 6,500 white-collar workers in Canada were the subjects of the study, which had a 45-year-old average age. Workplace stress can also cause plaque to form and blood pressure to rise, both of which can have an impact on the heart. Exercise, meditation, and stress-relieving activities can help prevent heart problems brought on by stress.

Why males are more susceptible to stress at work
Men may be more susceptible to some types of work-related stress, which can occasionally raise the risk of cardiac problems. Everyone responds to stress in a unique way, and other factors like heredity, lifestyle, and general health have a significant impact on heart health, according to Dr. Subhendu Mohanty, Head Cardiologists at Sharda Hospital.

“Men and women frequently work in settings and occupations that are different from one another. Men may be more susceptible to chronic stress in some specific professions with high levels of stress, such as those in finance, law enforcement, etc., due to the demands of the job or the corporate culture, adds Dr. Mohanty.

“Men are particularly susceptible to the effects of chronic work-related stress on cardiac disease. Medical experts have serious concerns about this phenomena. Long-term stress causes a series of physiological reactions that increase the risk of hypertension, inflammation, and cardiovascular problems.

According to Dr. Puneet Varma, Consultant – Adult Cardiology, Narayana Health City Bangalore, it is vital for people to understand the significance of controlling stress through lifestyle modifications, exercise, and seeking support.
“A recent study demonstrating the potential doubling of heart disease risk in men reinforces the significance of tackling this issue, which highlights the relationship between work-related stress and its detrimental influence on health. According to Dr. Amar Singhal, Senior Consultant, Interventional Cardiologist, Sri Balaji Action Medical Institute, this research reveals a worrying association that needs immediate attention from both individuals and institutions.

“Stress, particularly chronic stress, can result in a number of harmful physiological reactions in the body, such as raised blood pressure, inflammation, and unhealthy lifestyle decisions like poor food and inactivity. These elements may work together to raise the risk of heart disease in the context of men’s heart health, continues Dr. Singhal.

Now, ChatGPT is capable of conducting an internet search

In a significant development for the software, ChatGPT, a generative AI platform, can now acquire data directly from the internet and gather current information in real-time, according to its developer OpenAI.

Up until now, ChatGPT’s responses to user inquiries were predicated on a sizable database that was empty of data beyond August 2021.

Now, ChatGPT is capable of conducting an internet search

OpenAI announced the development in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter. “ChatGPT can now browse the internet to provide you with current and authoritative information, complete with direct links to sources,” the post said. It’s no longer only information from before September 2021.

Additionally, it stated that the newest feature would provide websites control over how ChatGPT communicates with them.

In June, OpenAI released the update for its paying members. However, it was soon put on hold as users discovered ways to get through paywalls on websites.

The “Browse with Bing” feature is also exclusive to paying ChatGPT Plus and Enterprise subscribers, but OpenAI promised that it will soon be made available to all users.

As does Google with its conversational robot Bard, OpenAI partner Microsoft already provides Bing Chat, an integration of GPT-4, the language model used to construct ChatGPT, with its internet search engine.

In addition to its responses, ChatGPT will now include direct sources; it will no longer rely just on the database that the program’s creator has access to.

Top ‘feature’ of iPhone 15 was initially observed on Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7

Every time a new iPhone is released, there is substantial media coverage that follows it, a lot of which includes articles discussing the best new features of the new iPhone 15. Some of these features receive more attention than others, and frequently, these features are added to the iPhone years after they have been made accessible for Android handsets.

And the USB-C port is the best illustration of that. Due to a new law in the European Union requiring USB-C ports on all mobile devices after 2024, Apple has finally abandoned its exclusive Lightning connector and adopted the USB-C standard. This means that users of iPhones and Android devices will soon be able to share charging cables and adapters.

IMG 3481

Top ‘feature’ of iPhone 15 was initially observed on Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7

The iPhone’s transition to USB-C is significant since it enables compatibility with Apple’s own products, such as the iPad and MacBook, as well as Android devices. In fact, it appears like USB-C is the most discussed iPhone feature ever.

Over 100,000 news stories have already been produced about the iPhone 15’s USB-C port.
The transition to USB-C takes the cake by a wide margin, according to research conducted by Mobiles.co.uk to determine how much attention key iPhone features have received over the years, both before and after the launch of each new iPhone. More than 150,000 news stories have already been published online on the USB-C port in the month prior to the release of the iPhone 15 and in the week after its release in some markets.

This is a wonderful illustration of how significant the iPhone 15’s USB-C port/connector is: in comparison, the Dynamic Island notch introduced with the iPhone 14 saw approximately 7,200 articles written about it in a comparable period before and after the iPhone 14 introduction. Yes, you would be correct to assume that some of the publicity portrays the iPhone’s use of USB-C as the greatest invention since bread.

But fans of Samsung and Android have long been accustomed to that, and no one anticipated a change this year. It’s been a long time coming, but we’re really delighted that Apple finally got it (or rather, that the European Union forced Apple to get it; either way, it’s good for consumers regardless of whether they own an iPhone, a Galaxy, or any other contemporary smartphone).

Future of Russian peacekeeping presence in Nagorno-Karabakh to be decided by Moscow and Baku

The Kremlin stated on Monday that Russia and Azerbaijan, which last week seized control of the region from Armenian separatists, will decide the future of their peacekeeping mission in Nagorno-Karabakh.

According to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, “since the mission is now on Azerbaijani territory, this will be a subject of our discussion with the Azerbaijani side.”

download 13

As part of a ceasefire agreement it mediated between Azerbaijan and Armenia that put an end to six weeks of intense fighting for control of the land, Russia sent almost 2,000 troops to the mountainous area in 2020.

After Azerbaijani forces retook control of Nagorno-Karabakh, Moscow indicated the day before Peskov’s remarks that Armenians evacuating had nothing to fear. There is no clear cause for such activities, Peskov told reporters on Thursday, so it’s difficult to assign responsibility.

Despite this, he continued, “people are expressing a desire to leave… those who made such a decision should be given the opportunity to live normally.”

Nikol Pashinyan, the prime minister of Armenia, has urged international action and warned of “ethnic cleansing” in the area.

For failing to step in as Azerbaijan launched its rapid offensive to retake the province, Pashinyan had criticized the Russian peacekeeping team.

Russia rejected the charges.

The departure of ethnic Armenians from the enclave signifies a profound change in the ethnic balance of power over the territories that have been contested for the past century by mainly Christian Armenians and primarily Muslim Azerbaijanis.

UN refugee agency readying for up to 120,000 refugees in Armenia

The UN refugee agency on Friday said more than 88,000 people have crossed into Armenia from Nagorno-Karabakh and the total could reach 120,000, a figure matching estimates of the entire population of the breakaway region.

Kavita Belani, UNHCR representative in Armenia, told a UN press briefing by video link that huge crowds of tired and frightened people were gathering at registration centres.

“This is a situation where they’ve lived under nine months of blockade,” she said. “And when they come in, they’re full of anxiety, they’re scared, they’re frightened and they want answers.”

“We are ready to cope with up to 120,000 people. It’s very hard to predict how many will come at this juncture,” she added in response to a question about refugee numbers. Initial planning figures were for between 70-90,000 refugees but that needs updating, she added.

In the shadow of the once-bitter Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the future of Russian peacekeeping presence now hinges on diplomatic deliberations between Moscow and Baku. With a fragile peace holding in the region, the question of whether Russian troops will remain as a stabilizing force or withdraw, lies at the heart of these discussions. The fate of this strategic chessboard in the South Caucasus is of paramount importance, not only to the local populations but also for regional and global players. As Moscow and Baku chart the path forward, the world watches with bated breath, hopeful for a lasting peace while acknowledging the complexities that underpin this geopolitical puzzle.

State of emergency declared due to significant flooding in New York City

On Friday, New York City’s subway system and airports were partially shut down as a result of heavy rains that fell overnight in the northeastern United States.

In social media posts, travellers were shown wading through water that was well beyond the tops of their shoes, prompting LaGuardia Airport to close one of its terminals.

Eric Adams, the mayor of New York, pleaded with residents to stay indoors since the streets were blocked and the subway stations were inundated.

“Stay at home if you are at home. Because parts of our subways are flooded and it’s exceedingly difficult to go around the city, he advised people who were at work or school to take refuge for the time being.

Images from all throughout New York revealed congested traffic, cars partially immersed in water, and several major roadways entirely closed.Inundated business owners worked to preserve their goods and drive the water back into the streets.

Numerous lines in Brooklyn were shut down as a result of the floods, which also affected the extensive New York subway system.

Ahmed Abdou, a 50-year-old cab driver who is originally from Egypt, criticized officials for their inability to deal with what he claimed was a common occurrence.

He declared, “The city’s subway system is appalling.

“Every year, all of the storms arrive at the same time. We ought to be more prepared for it, he remarked.

However, Rohit Aggarwala Overall, the city’s environmental protection commissioner claimed that the pace of global warming was outpacing the city’s ability to strengthen its defenses.

“Climate change is the cause of this altering weather pattern. And the unfortunate truth is that our infrastructure cannot keep up with the pace at which our climate is changing,” Overall remarked.

The 8.5 million-person metropolis of New York, together with its heavily populated suburbs, including Long Island to the east and the Hudson River valley to the north, were placed under an official state of emergency by Governor Kathy Hochul.

Flooding was predicted by the National Weather Service through late Friday due to rainfall rates of up to two inches (5.1 centimeters) per hour.

It predicted that Friday’s total accumulation might reach seven inches (18 centimeters).

“Excessive runoff will likely result in scattered to numerous instances of flash flooding in urban and poor drainage areas, as well as along quick-responding small rivers and streams,” the report stated.

A low pressure system in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, which draws moist air from the sea, is what caused the rain.

Hurricane 2021 September

Residents in both boroughs were advised to exercise extra caution after some of the heaviest flooding occurred on Friday.

According to Zach Iscol, commissioner of New York City Emergency Management, “If you live in these boroughs or in a basement apartment or in a flood-prone area, please make sure you have plans and are prepared to move to higher ground.”

Water surged down the stairs and through the ceilings of certain stations in the subway, one of the biggest systems in the world with 420 stops and more than 30 lines.

Millions of city dwellers depend on the subway to get about, but several lines—including one in Brooklyn—were shut down due to floods.

France’s trade and development policies are expected to strengthen the bilateral economic relationship with Pakistan

BY Samra Athar Kakakhel

From its inception, Franco-Pakistan relations were warm and cordial relation; both countries had diplomatic ties shortly after Pakistan’s independence. France was one of the first non-Muslim states to recognize Pakistan, opening its embassy a few months after Pakistani independence.  We remember that the first French ambassador to Pakistan presented his credentials in April 1948. Goodwill messages were exchanged between the leaders of the two countries, with Pakistan’s founder, Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, honoring France.

He addressed the first French ambassador to Pakistan that “The magnificent history of your great country and its achievements are well-known to the world. In common with other nations, we in Pakistan have admired the high principles of democracy that form the basis of your great state. The cry of liberty, fraternity, and equality which was raised during your great revolution and officially adopted by your great Republic had its repercussions throughout the world, as is known to every student of history. These ideals and these principles are still keeping up the hopes of many downtrodden nations.”

France considered Pakistan a “state deserving of attention”. It was a major foreign supplier to the Pakistan Armed Forces. France had been an important partner in the early 1960s, particularly for the PAF and the Navy. We actually remember France delivering the first batch of Mirage jets as well as submarine technology to Pakistan. From 1967 to the 2000s, the Pakistan Air Force was France’s greatest customer, purchasing a large number of fighter and commercial aircraft. In early 1990, the PAF bought a batch of the used Mirage fighters, followed by the signing of a contract for 40 fighter aircraft. The Navy also has a long-standing defense relationship with France, which is best recognized for its purchase of the Daphne class and the submarine technology transfer of the Agosto class which was signed in 1994.

Pakistan always desired the same degree of cooperation in non-military domains as France. The Pakistani government aimed to produce a draft roadmap aimed at renewing and strengthening Pakistan-France bilateral ties in all domains, including politics, economics, education, culture, science and technology, and counter-terrorism. For friendly relations, there ought to be a proper strategic plan to team up with Pakistan and support initiatives for increased scientific and technological cooperation, particularly in the fields of environment, climate change, green technologies, information and communication commerce, digitalization of economies, Financial technology, and agriculture, engineering, medical sciences, humanities, social sciences, and management sciences.

To continue development assistance in connection with Sustainability, Pakistan must be recognized and encouraged to follow the EU’s best practices and concepts. Recognize specific programs by having signed required agreements between academic institutions, higher education institutions, and industries in both countries. Boosting and formalizing links between academic and research institutions, universities, and think tanks, offering scholarships and programs of faculty and student exchange, and developing technical and vocational training capacity building, training of trainers, and expertise to raise the quality of technical and vocational Centers, quality assessment, exploring future possibilities.

Following post-doctoral training for Pakistani professors and researchers will encourage the growth of short-term visits to partner country institutions via Ph.D. and post-doc scholars studying in Pakistani or French institutions to work on research programs. To strengthen and advance linguistic and cultural ties, including via joint festivals, cultural weeks, education weeks, and the exchange of musicians, artists, cultural groups, and fashion industry entrepreneurs, as well as to motivate Pakistani culture professionals to visit France for programs run by both the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the French Ministry of Culture, and to support young emerging creators and artists in Pakistan. Not to forget the long-standing role of France in the preservation and valorization of Pakistani heritage (including Mohenjo-Daro and the Old City of Lahore). Thus, the cooperation between the two parties would encourage missions of institutions from both nations aimed at further developing cooperation in these cultural domains.

These days, both nations are working to strengthen people-to-people relations. A big step forward was on 3rd September 2022 the arrival of a French aircraft carrying relief goods including medicine and high-technology dewatering pumps with a team of doctors and experts for the flood-affected people of Pakistan.

This extended support for flood relief in this difficult hour is valued and paved the way for Pakistan and France to warm up our old and profound relationship.

Financial Planning for Beginners: A Step-by-Step Guide to Secure Your Financial Future

By Abid Ali Narejo

Financial literacy and planning are essential life skills that can empower individuals to make informed decisions about their money, work towards financial goals, and achieve long-term stability. If you’re a beginner looking to take control of your finances, this comprehensive guide will walk you through the fundamentals of budgeting, saving, and investing, providing you with the tools to pave the way for a more secure financial future. Additionally, we’ll recommend some useful resources, including budgeting apps, investment platforms, and financial books, to help you on your journey.

Budgeting: Building a Strong Financial Foundation

Before you can embark on your financial journey, it’s crucial to create a solid budget. A budget is essentially a roadmap for your finances, allowing you to track income, expenses, and savings goals. Here’s how to get started:

  1. Assess Your Financial Situation: Begin by calculating your monthly income and listing all your expenses. This will give you a clear picture of your financial health.
  2. Set Clear Goals: Define your short-term and long-term financial goals, whether it’s building an emergency fund, paying off debt, or saving for retirement.
  3. Create a Budget: Using a budgeting app like Mint, YNAB (You Need A Budget), or Personal Capital can simplify the process. These apps categorize your spending, track your progress, and provide insights into your financial habits.
  4. Monitor and Adjust: Regularly review your budget to ensure you’re on track. Adjust it as needed to accommodate changes in your financial situation or goals.

Saving: Building Your Financial Safety Net

Savings are your safety net, providing you with financial security and peace of mind. Here’s how to start saving effectively:

  1. Emergency Fund: Aim to save at least three to six months’ worth of living expenses in an easily accessible account. This fund can help you navigate unexpected financial challenges, like medical bills or car repairs.
  2. Automate Savings: Many banks offer automatic transfers to a savings account, making it easier to save consistently.
  3. Savings Apps: Consider using apps like Acorns or Qapital, which help you save spare change or set savings goals.
  4. High-Yield Savings Accounts: Look for online banks that offer higher interest rates than traditional banks, helping your money grow over time.

Investing: Growing Your Wealth

Once you have established a solid budget and built your emergency fund, it’s time to consider investments to grow your wealth over the long term. Here’s how to start investing:

  1. Educate Yourself: Start by reading financial books like “The Millionaire Next Door” by Thomas J. Stanley or “The Total Money Makeover” by Dave Ramsey. These books provide valuable insights into managing money and building wealth.
  2. Choose the Right Investment Platform: Select a reliable investment platform such as Vanguard, Fidelity, or Charles Schwab. These platforms offer a wide range of investment options and educational resources.
  3. Diversify Your Portfolio: Invest in a mix of assets, including stocks, bonds, and real estate. Diversification helps spread risk and increase the potential for long-term gains.
  4. Start Small: You don’t need a significant amount of money to begin investing. Many platforms allow you to start with as little as $100. Over time, you can increase your investments as you become more comfortable with the process.

Remember, investing carries risks, so it’s essential to conduct thorough research and, if needed, seek advice from a financial advisor.

In conclusion, mastering financial planning is a gradual process that requires commitment and discipline. By creating a budget, building a strong savings habit, and wisely investing your money, you can take control of your financial future. To make this journey more manageable, consider using budgeting apps, reading financial books, and choosing reputable investment platforms. Your path to financial security starts with a single step, and with dedication and the right resources, you can achieve your financial goals and secure your future.

Journalist Landscape in Pakistan – Escalating Attacks on Journalists

Pakistan press freedom 1024x547 1

“Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers.”

United Nations, Universal Declaration of Human Rights

A recent round of attacks has increased the pressure on our journalists. The silence with which journalists are attacked causes disaster in Pakistani democracy. Respect for journalists and their freedom of expression has declined to a new level in recent years. There is an active force to target them because of the important function they serve in keeping the general public informed. Around the globe, journalists are barred from revealing uncomfortable truths and holding leaders accountable for their actions in the eyes of the public, attracting governments’ violent efforts to discredit their work and sometimes silence them for life. Many daring and outspoken journalists live in continuous terror of attacks and fatal threats. Every day, there are numerous incidences of attacks against journalists in various areas of worldwide, many of which never make the news. Fear of violence hangs over journalists in many nations. That is why tales are swept under the carpet and unconstitutional actions are covered. This is a difficult time for journalism, especially in a country where it is so needed.
In the course of performing what they do professionally in Pakistan’s media atmosphere, our journalists confront tremendous dangers, hurdles, and threats to their safety like harassment, intimidation, assault, arbitrary arrest, imprisonment, abduction, and murder. A journalist has been harassed in a number of instances. Asad Ali Toor, a journalist, was assaulted by three unidentified men who forcibly entered his apartment in Islamabad, Hamid Mir, one of Pakistan’s best-known television talk show hosts after he spoke at a protest in solidarity with Asad was suspended, Prominent journalist Syed Talat Hussain banned, an unidentified assailant shot and wounded Absar Alam, a television journalist, outside his house in Islamabad, an unidentified assailant abducted Matiullah Jan, a journalist in Islamabad the day before he was to appear before the Supreme Court.
A group of prominent female journalists spoke out against an incident in which they were targeted on social media, including murder and rape threats against women journalists and analysts whose reporting was realistic and critical of the government. These cases disturbing to see the space for dissent and providing information of public importance rapidly shrink in Pakistan, with journalists as well as human rights defenders, particularly at risk of censorship. These kinds of threats have risen, and Pakistani authorities have increased their pressure on journalists and media owners to keep quiet critical voices. Governments have been pressuring our media outlets not to challenge government institutions. The majority of journalists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Baluchistan have been more vulnerable to the elements than journalists in other parts of Pakistan. There are no checks and balances on security safety measures, poor conditions for the rule of law, and an absence of tolerance in society for press criticism among journalists. Pakistan’s democracy has come to an end.
In Pakistan, the right to freedom of expression and speech had been recognized by the Constitution of 1956 and 1962. The Constitution of Pakistan, 1973 includes a specific provision (Article 19) on freedom of expression and speech. Pakistan has freedom of Expression to hold opinions and free expression is fundamental for a thriving democracy. Article 19 of the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) also states, “Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression.
If the Pakistani government and authorities are concerned about respecting their human rights obligations under Article 19 of the Pakistani constitution, they must take swift action to address censorship, harassment, and violence against journalists. They have to initiate timely, fair, and effective investigations into the current incidence of journalist attacks. In light of threats from extremist organizations and government officials, the government ought to eliminate official policies that protect the authorities from criticism and rather promote space for public debate and free speech. In Pakistan, the frequency and fearlessness with which journalists are attacked is alarming. The Pakistani government must hold those responsible for these attacks responsible and assure that all journalists may work without fear of intimidation or repercussions.

Kane Williamson won’t play against England in the ICC World Cup 2023

Due to a knee injury that is healing, New Zealand captain Kane Williamson will likely miss the opening match of the ICC World Cup 2023 against England in Ahmedabad on October 5.

Williamson will participate in New Zealand’s first exhibition game against Pakistan in Hyderabad as a specialist hitter. However, he is anticipated to play both the field and the bat against South Africa on Monday in Thiruvananthapuram.

Kane Williamson’s progress toward recuperation was updated by New Zealand head coach Gary Stead.

Gary Stead, the head coach of New Zealand, said, “Right from the start, we’ve taken a long-term view on Kane’s return to play.” “His recovery is progressing well, and now the focus is on ensuring that he can handle the demands and rigors of international cricket. We’ll continue to monitor Kane’s recovery on a day-by-day basis, and we won’t put any pressure on him to play until he’s ready.

The 33-year-old hitter appeared to have been eliminated from the championship game after tearing the cruciate ligament in his right knee while playing for Gujarat Titans of the Indian Premier League in April.

Tom Latham, a wicketkeeper batsman, will represent New Zealand in the opening game against England as well as two practice matches.

Remembering a Stalwart Stateswoman: Dianne Feinstein

By Abid Ali Narejo

The United States mourns the loss of one of its most dedicated and enduring public servants today as Senator Dianne Feinstein, a stalwart of American politics and a veteran of the Senate, passed away at the age of 90. Her legacy is one of unwavering commitment, fierce dedication to her constituents, and an unrelenting pursuit of justice. As the nation reflects on her extraordinary career, it becomes evident that Feinstein’s contributions will remain etched in the annals of American political history for generations to come.

download 6 1

Born on June 22, 1933, in San Francisco, California, Dianne Feinstein’s journey into public service began long before her distinguished career in the Senate. She graduated from Stanford University in 1955, earning a degree in history, and later received her master’s degree in 1961. Her academic prowess was evident from the start, setting the stage for her future in politics.

Feinstein’s commitment to her country was evident from an early age, and her sense of duty led her to serve as a member of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, where she demonstrated a knack for efficient governance and leadership. Her steady rise in local politics paved the way for her election as the Mayor of San Francisco in 1978, a role in which she would display an extraordinary ability to bring people together and address complex urban issues.

However, it was her entry into the United States Senate in 1992 that truly solidified Dianne Feinstein’s reputation as a formidable legislator. Elected as the senior Senator from California, Feinstein embarked on a tenure marked by her unyielding dedication to the people she represented. Her work spanned a wide range of critical issues, from gun control and environmental protection to healthcare and national security.

Perhaps one of Feinstein’s most significant contributions was her tireless advocacy for sensible gun control measures. Throughout her Senate career, she championed various pieces of legislation aimed at curbing gun violence and enhancing public safety. Her work in this area was a testament to her courage and determination, as she faced intense opposition from powerful lobbying groups. Her perseverance demonstrated her unshakable commitment to creating a safer America for all.

In the realm of environmental conservation, Senator Feinstein was a fierce advocate for preserving the natural beauty of California and the nation at large. Her efforts in protecting national parks and advocating for clean energy policies underscored her vision for a more sustainable and environmentally responsible future.

Feinstein’s impact extended well beyond the legislative realm. Her role in promoting the empowerment of women in politics was inspirational. She served as a trailblazer for many aspiring female leaders, proving that gender should never be a barrier to success in the political arena. She inspired generations of young women to enter public service and make their voices heard.

The world also recognizes Senator Feinstein for her strong stance on matters of national security. She played a pivotal role in overseeing intelligence agencies and ensuring the safety and security of the American people. Her dedication to upholding the nation’s values while maintaining its security was unwavering.

As a veteran of the Senate with nearly three decades of service, Feinstein’s tenure was marked by an ability to find common ground and build consensus, a quality often lacking in today’s polarized political climate. Her pragmatic approach to legislating allowed her to work across the aisle and reach compromises on crucial issues, demonstrating that progress is possible when individuals prioritize the greater good over partisan divides.

The passing of Senator Feinstein leaves a void in American politics that will be difficult to fill. Her wisdom, experience, and steadfast dedication to the principles of democracy set a high standard for all who follow in her footsteps. As a tribute to her remarkable legacy, it is incumbent upon our nation’s leaders to continue her work in crafting legislation that advances the well-being and prosperity of all Americans.

Dianne Feinstein’s contributions to the United States were not confined to party lines, as her leadership transcended political affiliations. She was an exemplar of public service, a testament to the power of unwavering commitment, and a role model for individuals of all backgrounds and aspirations.

As we bid farewell to a remarkable woman, we must remember the lessons of her life and work. Senator Dianne Feinstein’s memory should inspire us to seek common ground, to champion the causes we hold dear, and to work tirelessly for the betterment of our great nation. In her honor, let us recommit ourselves to the principles of unity, equality, and justice that she championed throughout her extraordinary career.

In a World Cup warm-up game on Friday, New Zealand defeated Pakistan by five wickets after chasing down 345 runs thanks in large part to crucial innings from Rachin Ravindra and the returning Kane Williamson.

When chasing 346 to win, New Zealand lost an early wicket before Ravindra (97) and Williamson (54) put up 137 to get their team back on track. They reached the goal in Hyderabad with 6.2 overs remaining.

After choosing to bat first, Pakistan scored 345-5 with Mohammed Rizwan scoring 103 and Babar Azam scoring 80. However, the Kiwi batsmen made the total appear simple against an attack lacking pace spearhead Shaheen Shah Afridi.

Williamson, who only participated as a batter in the game after missing six months owing to a knee injury, had remarkable form during his 50-ball stint before being dismissed.

Williamson, who will miss the tournament’s opening match against England on October 5 because of a knee injury, said of the injury: “It held up pretty well.”

Usama Mir, a Pakistani spinner, struck twice in his two overs, but Daryl Mitchell scored 59 to keep the chase moving.

New Zealand completed the task in 43.4 overs thanks to a 68-run partnership between left-handed batsman Mark Chapman, who hit the decisive six in his unbeaten 65, and James Neesham, who scored 33.

Prior to being bowled by Mitchell Santner, Azam smashed eight fours and two sixes. However, Rizwan continued to bat and joined Saud Shakeel for another crucial stand to make 100.

“Strengthening Economic and Military Ties: Ukraine-Pakistan Relations Amid Ukraine’s Support to India”

By Abid Ali Narejo

Pakistan is kind of like a bridge between the Middle East and the rest of Asia. It is the only nation in the world known to have been established on the basis of religion alone. Pakistan is located in South Asia surrounded by Iran, Afghanistan, China, and India with the Arabian sea and the Gulf of Oman in the South.

Economic and Military Ties Between Ukraine and Pakistan in the Backdrop of Ukrainian Support to India

It is the world’s fifth most populous country with a population of almost 242 million and has the world’s second-largest Muslim population, Pakistan is the 33rd largest country by area spanning 881,913 square kilometers (340,509 square miles). Pakistan is a Middle power nation and has the world’s sixth-largest standing armed forces. It is a declared Nuclear weapon state and is ranked amongst the emerging and growth-leading economies. Since 1947 the country continues to face challenges including terrorism, illiteracy, corruption, and poverty. Pakistan is a member of the United Nation and is designated as a major non-Natto ally by the United States.

Pakistan and Ukraine recognized two-pronged relations on 16th March 1992. At the present, there are a number of trade and economic cooperation agreements between Pakistan and Ukraine. Ukrainian Ambassador in Pakistan has described the relations between Pakistan and Ukraine as ‘dynamic, with collaborations taking place in political, legal, military-technical, economic and humanitarian domains.

There is a multitude of opportunities for joint ventures between Pakistan and Ukraine. The range of possible collaboration goes from the depths of the sea to the extent of space. Pakistan has an embassy in the capital of Ukraine “Kyiv” and Ukraine has an embassy in the Capital of Pakistan “Islamabad” and a consular office in Karachi and Lahore. Ukraine and Pakistan cooperate in the field of education and cultural exchanges. Pakistan and Ukraine also cooperate extensively in the fields of aerospace engineering, aerospace technology, biomedical sciences, and science and technology. In the defense sector, Islamabad and Kyiv maintain pragmatic trade relations and shower each other with compliments.

Economic and Military Ties Between Ukraine and Pakistan:

Historically, at the time of the dissolution of the Soviet Union when Ukraine became an independent nation, Pakistan and Ukraine had a steady relationship based on bilateral trade. The main reason for the bilateral diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Ukraine includes economic, trade, military, technology, and infrastructure projects. For economic and military ties, Pakistan and Ukraine have had a diplomatic relationship, after the 1990s, Ukraine sold 320 Ukrainian T-80UD main battle tanks to Pakistan in a deal worth US$650 million. According to Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) databases, between 1991 and 2020, Ukraine completed arms contracts with Pakistan totaling nearly $1.6 billion.

During this period, Pakistan was described as Ukraine’s biggest arms buyer, next to Russia, China, India, and Thailand. There was an agreement signed by Pakistan with Ukraine for the purchase of four II-78 refueling aircraft equipped with UPAZ refueling modules of Russian design in December 2008. All purchased aircraft were delivered by 2012. Pakistan plays a supportive role through humanitarian aid in order to help the people of Ukraine affected by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. Pakistani 122mm howitzer projectiles were purchased by the United Kingdom, and later on, were supplied to Ukraine.

These near-daily flights have led some observers to conclude that the UK has established an air bridge between Romania and Pakistan so that 122mm artillery ammunition produced by the Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF) can be sent to Ukraine. On 30 August it was confirmed with evidence via social media that the Ukrainian military has successfully received Pakistani 122mm rounds.

Ambassador of Ukraine to Pakistan, Mr. Volodymyr Lakomov, said that his country is willing to play an effective role in Pakistan’s development progress and welcomes any efforts to find new approaches to cooperation and expansion of ties with Pakistan in various sectors during a seminar organized jointly by the department of history, Quaid-i-Azam University, and diplomatic insight. This seminar was organized to emphasize Pakistan and Ukraine’s relationship.

On the other hand, India and Russia tend to treat Pakistan and Ukraine as artificial constructs that arose as a fluke of political circumstances, with no apparent long-term prospects. There is a territorial conflict both India- Pakistan and Ukraine -Russia. Pakistan and India both have the same language and the same cultural traditions, history, and customs.

In most cases, they really are family but when it comes to nationhood and worldview that dictionary makes a clear boundary that splits one side from the other. The actual reason for the conflict is Kashmir and its resources. On the other hand, if we talk about Russia and Ukraine, the tension between Russia and Ukraine is primarily because of two reasons:

  1. Ukraine is a matter of strategic importance to Russia.
  2. There is also a territorial conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

If you look at the size of Ukraine, it is a big country that lies between the European Union and Russia. Ukraine was once a part of the Soviet Union after 1991 Ukraine became a separate country and declared itself an independent country on 24th August 1991. It has deep social and cultural ties with Russia and Russian languages are lightly spoken there, especially on the Eastern side of Ukraine. The Eastern Ukrainian region’s border is with Russia.

It has more Russian-speaking people and that is very natural, one more thing is very common in their border areas of Russia and Ukraine, that there will be groups who are both political as well as armed. They will have their own political interests, which means the raw political groups as well as armed groups in Eastern Ukraine were pro-Russian. Naturally, when Politics is involved definitely Russia will have secured its own political interest.

A Call for Minority Rights and Justice

By Samra Akhtar

The tragic attack on a church in Faisalabad on August 16, 2023, has shaken the foundations of religious harmony in Pakistan. This act of violence not only reflects a concerning disregard for the rights of religious minorities but also tarnishes Pakistan’s global image. It is crucial to address this incident promptly and ensure that justice is served to those affected.

Additionally, this incident emphasizes the pressing need to strengthen the rights of minorities in the country. The desecration of a place of worship is not only an attack on a religious community but an affront to the values of respect and coexistence that Pakistan holds dear. Such acts of violence not only harm innocent lives but also perpetuate a cycle of hatred and distrust, damaging the nation’s reputation on the global stage.

The demand for justice in the wake of the Faisalabad church attack is not just a cry for retribution but a plea for the protection of the rights and dignity of Pakistan’s minorities. Those responsible for such heinous acts must be held accountable and subjected to the full extent of the law. An immediate, thorough, and impartial investigation is necessary to ensure that justice prevails.

The Faisalabad church attack underscores the pressing need for Pakistan to strengthen the rights of its minority communities. It is imperative to foster an inclusive environment that upholds the principles of religious freedom and coexistence. Promoting the presence of minorities in media, politics, and all facets of society can pave the way for a more harmonious and diverse Pakistan.

Minorities have contributed immensely to Pakistan’s progress, and their representation in media can amplify their voices and dispel stereotypes. Increased media coverage of minority achievements, cultural contributions, and success stories will demonstrate the rich tapestry of Pakistan’s identity.

Addressing this issue requires the collective effort of the government, civil society, and citizens. The call for action extends to the government of Pakistan and other authorities to ensure that the investigation into the Faisalabad church attack is swift, transparent, and impartial. By taking stringent action against those responsible, Pakistan can show its commitment to justice and equality for all.

The Faisalabad church attack is a stark reminder that violence against religious minorities has no place in a nation that aspires to uphold the principles of equality, harmony, and justice. It is imperative that Pakistan takes proactive measures to strengthen the rights of minorities, promote their representation, and create an environment of tolerance. By doing so, Pakistan can erase the stain of violence and emerge as a beacon of unity and diversity on the global stage.

Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH), The Prophet of Mercy

by Tanvir Hussain , Ahmad Pur Sial

Rabi al-Awwal is the month of the birth of the person who brought the message of freedom, salvation and completion of the religion of Islam and the foundation of the true religion. With the arrival of Muhammad Mustafa (peace be upon him) in the world, the fourteen pillars of the palace of Kisra fell down, the fire pits were extinguished and the idols kept in the Kaaba were destroyed. After the birth of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), the darkness of disbelief and shirk disappeared.

People got the knowledge of one God. Along with the end of cruelty, the distinction between slave and master ended. The distinctions of color, blood and race disappeared. The clouds of ignorance were removed and a new era of light began. It is the day of coming to the world, the mercy of the worlds, the comfort of lovers, our resource in this world and the hereafter, the Imam of both the Qiblas and the Kaaba, and the lover of the Lord of the East and the West.

Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (peace be upon him) is the leader of the Arabs and the Gentiles, whose blessed body is free from every defect and is the source of fragrance. The son of Hazrat Amna was the bright and pleasant sun of the morning, the moon of the fourteenth night, the light of guidance, the refuge of the creatures, the shadow of the best deeds and habits and the lamp of darkness.

Allah Almighty and His angels send “Darood” on the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and the believers are also commanded to do the same. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) is the beacon of light, Allah is his protector, Gabriel is his servant, Buraq is his ride. , Ascension is his journey and Sadra Tul-Muntah is his place. The personality of the last Prophet (PBUH) is higher than the ascension of humanity.

In the darkness of the world, only the Holy Prophet (PBUH)was a lamp. In the world of colors, only the person of the Holy Prophet was the center of truth and righteousness and the bright beacon of guidance. Not only his followers but also strangers have acknowledged his high character. There is a text inscribed on a book in London’s Oxford University, on which the names of ten perfect people in the world are written number wise.

Among them, the name of Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (PBUH) is on the top of the list. All the revolutions that happened in the world were partial and only one corner of human life was changed by them, while the Holy Prophet (PBUH)created great revolutions in the world. it changed the entire human life and beliefs and theories, sciences and arts, law and morals, culture and civilization, society and economy and politics and government did not leave any corner of human life without change. Arabs became enlightened by his arrival in this world.

All aspects of his biography have been recognized by strangers, relatives, friends, companions, strangers and slaves. He is the reason that his biography is not only for Arabs but the whole world. is an example for This is the reason why the life of the Prophet (PBUH) is an example not only for Arabs but for the whole world. In the Holy Qur’an, Allah is swearing that his Prophet has the highest level of morals. It can also be inferred from the fact that God Himself is praising him and has also raised the mention of His Beloved. The Holy Prophet ‘s (PBUH) sweet speech and politeness and soft tone in conversation would have melted even the heart of the enemy.

Every author tries to highlight the Prophet’s biography by dressing his subjects in the cloak of beautiful words according to his own style. Today is the 12th of Rabi ul Awwal, great thinkers, intellectuals, scholars, columnists will adorn the pages of special editions of various newspapers with articles in honor of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) , but according to the writer, no words have been invented which the aspects of the Prophet’s biography can be covered. We can describe broken words in the glory of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

The fact is that the noble words of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) belong only to the Lord, which God has mentioned in the Book of Guidance revealed to His Beloved Prophet (PBUH). It is also said that even if the trees of the whole world were cut down and their pens were made, and even if there were as much ink as the oceans of the world, it would be impossible to describe the attributes of Hasnain Karimin’s grandfather. It is an undisputed fact that God created the light of His beloved Prophet Muhammad )peace be upon him) first and created everything for His Beloved Prophet.

We are proud to be the ummah of Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (PBUH)because one Lac and twenty four thousand prophets also wished that they too were the ummah of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH). Today is the day that humans, animals, birds even then each creature all are celebrating the birthday of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).It is the greatest joy in the world. if we live our lives according to the sayings and illuminate the world with the light of the life of the Holy Prophet(PBUH), then surely humanity will get all the exaltations that they have been searching for centuries. We should also follow the footsteps of the Prophet (PBUH) instead of being influenced by the dazzling moonlight of the 21st century and mold the flag of Islam by following his Sunnah.

Navigating Pakistan’s Economic Challenges: A Path to Sustainable Growth

Pakistan, a nation endowed with abundant resources and a skilled labor force, has grappled with a historical backdrop of economic challenges that have hindered its pursuit of prosperity. However, by embracing strategic planning and adopting prudent policies, Pakistan possesses the potential to surmount these obstacles and set a course towards sustainable economic growth. In this article, we explore some of the most pressing economic issues confronting Pakistan while offering potential solutions.

One persistent issue that has dogged Pakistan is its fiscal deficit, where expenditures consistently outstrip revenues. This disparity fuels inflation and necessitates reliance on external borrowing. To address this issue, Pakistan must prioritize revenue generation through comprehensive tax reforms, an expanded tax base, and the relentless pursuit of curbing corruption. Equally imperative is the judicious management of government spending.

Another formidable impediment to economic growth in Pakistan is the ongoing energy crisis, characterized by recurrent power outages that disrupt industrial productivity and dissuade foreign investment. Resolving this challenge entails investments in alternative energy sources such as solar and wind power, concurrently bolstering the efficiency of the existing energy infrastructure.

High unemployment and underemployment rates, particularly among the youth, loom as significant concerns. Pakistan’s government can mitigate this issue by investing in skill development programs and nurturing entrepreneurship to foster job creation. The attraction of foreign investment can further fortify these efforts.

Persistent inflation erodes the purchasing power of citizens, predominantly those with limited incomes. Curbing inflation requires prudent monetary policies and regulation of prices for essential goods, all while ensuring equitable access to affordable necessities for vulnerable populations.

The mounting public debt diverts resources away from essential services, rendering a comprehensive debt management strategy essential. This strategy should encompass a reduced reliance on costly foreign borrowing and renegotiating favorable terms with international creditors.

Crucially, investing in education and healthcare is indispensable for the development of human capital. The government should allocate increased resources to these sectors to guarantee universal access to quality education and healthcare services.

Corruption remains a formidable roadblock to economic progress, necessitating fortified institutions, stringent enforcement of anti-corruption laws, and a relentless pursuit of transparency and accountability.

Effective infrastructure improvement, spanning roads, ports, and logistics, forms the backbone of economic growth. Investments in infrastructure projects have the potential to invigorate economic activity and streamline trade.

In terms of solutions, Pakistan’s economy can diversify beyond its reliance on agriculture and textiles, with a renewed focus on technology, manufacturing, and services. Leveraging Pakistan’s strategic location for enhanced regional connectivity, exemplified by the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), can serve as a catalyst for trade and economic growth. Encouraging exports through incentives and trade agreements offers a viable strategy for addressing the trade deficit.

Ensuring political stability and the sustained continuity of economic policies is paramount for attracting foreign investment. Furthermore, investments in human capital through education and healthcare are bound to yield long-term dividends.

Prioritizing energy sector reforms and reducing the burden of circular debt can stabilize Pakistan’s energy sector, ensuring a consistent power supply and bolstering industrial growth.

Pakistan’s real estate sector also assumes a pivotal role in the nation’s economic landscape, serving as a driver of economic growth, facilitating investment, and job creation. A collaborative effort between the government and the military can foster policies that promote responsible and sustainable real estate development, thereby contributing positively to the overall economy.

Moreover, it is imperative for the government and the military to collaborate harmoniously in addressing Pakistan’s economic challenges. A synergy of expertise can be achieved through joint task forces, fostering an environment conducive to foreign investment, enhancing governance efficiency, and promoting economic stability and security.

In conclusion, Pakistan’s formidable economic challenges can be surmounted through a unified effort involving the government, the Pakistan Army, and other stakeholders. By fostering collaboration and shared objectives, Pakistan has the potential to emerge as a prosperous and economically vibrant nation while simultaneously ensuring the security and stability of its citizens.

More durable than the more expensive iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max

Zack from the YouTube channel JerryRigEverything recently showed how the iPhone 15 Pro Max frequently fails bend tests when it isn’t dealing with overheating concerns.

It’s quite a spectacle to see the back glass break when the phone is twisted, especially because this is the first time an iPhone has failed this test. Visit the link below to view the specifics of the iPhone 15 Pro Max durability test.

Today we’re going to look at the standard iPhone 15, which still has an aluminum frame in contrast to the premium titanium construction of the Pro Max.

Scrape Test

The assessment starts off as usual with a screen scratch test. Compared to Gorilla Glass, which is used by the majority of Android phones, Apple’s Ceramic Shield has somewhat better scratch resistance. On the Mohs scale, it still develops scratches at level 6 and shows more pronounced grooves at level 7. It’s important to remember that while there are markings, they might not be as obvious as those seen on other cellphones. Contrary to its noticeably more expensive sibling, this specific model passes the bend test with flying colors. The iPhone 15 Plus experiences a similar examination process and comes up with a similar positive result.

Inconvenient for Apple Apple is in a very humiliating situation considering that the Pro phones are meant to more premium.

While SAG-AFTRA is still on strike, the WGA formally lifts the work ban

The announcement followed the WGA and AMPTP’s Sunday tentative agreement on a new three-year contract.

The new agreement will now be put to the guilds’ memberships for a ratification vote, which will take place via Entertainment Tonight from October 2 to October 9. The WGAW Board and WGAE Council have agreed to suspend the prohibition and have permitted members to return to work on Wednesday, though the agreement has not yet been finalized.

Hollywood production came to an abrupt halt as a result of the May 2 strike when all the writers presented their requests. The actors’ union, SAG-AFTRA, then joined the walkout.

Despite expressing support for the WGA agreement, SAG-AFTRA is still on strike. In a formal statement released on Sunday, the actor’s union commended the WGA on the tentative agreement and praised the “incredible strength, resiliency, and solidarity on the picket lines.”

The statement continued, “SAG-AFTRA members have joined the writers on the picket lines ever since the WGA strike started. We continue to call on the CEOs of the studios and streamers, as well as the AMPTP, to come back to the negotiating table and reach the fair agreement that our members expect and deserve while we are on strike over our TV/Theatrical contract.

OpenAI reports that ChatGPT users can now access the internet

It won’t be long until users of ChatGPT will be allowed to browse the internet, which will significantly boost the amount of data the popular chatbot can access beyond the previous cutoff date of September 2021.

The company that specializes in artificial intelligence asserts that the most recent surfing feature introduced to ChatGPT would make it possible for websites to personalize the manner in which ChatGPT communicates with them.

“At the moment, only Plus and Enterprise members have access to browsing; but, in the not-too-distant future, we want to make it available to all users. According to a statement that was released by OpenAI on the social media network X, which was formerly known as Twitter, users have the ability to activate the function by choosing Browse with Bing from the menu that is located beneath the GPT-4 option. This option can be found on the social media platform X.

Additionally, the business made an announcement earlier this week about a significant improvement that would allow ChatGPT to communicate with clients via audio and visuals, bringing it closer to the level of complexity of well-known AI assistants such as Apple’s Siri.

An earlier version of OpenAI’s premium ChatGPT Plus service experimented with a feature that gave customers the ability to get the most recent information by using the search engine Bing. However, after further thought, it was decided to remove it owing to worries that users may be able to get around paywalls. This decision was made after more review.

When ChatGPT reached the milestone of 100 million monthly active users in January of this year, it established itself as the consumer application that had expanded at the most rapid pace in the history of apps of this kind. Despite this, the Meta-developed Threads program eventually surpassed Chat GPT and took its place.

The lightning-fast growth of OpenAI has attracted the interest of an ever-increasing number of financial investors. On Tuesday, Reuters and a number of other media sites reported that the firm is apparently in conversations with shareholders on the potential of selling existing shares at a price that is much higher than what it was just a few months ago. This information was reported in relation to the possibility of selling existing shares at a price that is significantly higher than what it was just a few months ago.
