Goalkeeping howler gifts 10-man Monaco draw against Rennes

Goalkeeping howler gifts 10-man Monaco draw against Rennes

A horrible mistake by teenage substitute goalkeeper Dogan Alemdar gifted an equaliser to Breel Embolo as Monaco bounced back from their midweek Champions League elimination to draw 1-1 with Rennes in Ligue 1 on Sunday.

Alemdar hesitated inside his own six-yard box as he controlled a backpass from Joe Rodon, allowing the lively Swiss striker Embolo to steal in and score in the 73rd minute.

Embolo’s goal cancelled out Gaetan Laborde’s opener in the 59th minute for Rennes, as Monaco escaped with a draw despite playing the majority of the game at the Stade Louis II down to 10 men.

The principality side were looking to get back on track after their extra-time elimination at the hands of PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League third qualifying round, a setback which means they will instead go into this season’s Europa League group stage.

Yet they were dealt a blow inside quarter of an hour when midfielder Youssouf Fofana was shown a straight red card for catching Rennes forward Martin Terrier on the shin with his studs right in front of the referee.

Despite that the home side were given the chance to take the lead from the penalty spot just after the half-hour mark when veteran Rennes goalkeeper Steve Mandanda rushed off his line to try to punch the ball away, only to catch Embolo on the head instead.

Mandanda redeemed himself by saving Axel Disasi’s spot-kick, but was then taken off at half-time with Turkish youngster Alemdar taking his place.

Reigning champions Paris Saint-Germain host Montpellier later with Kylian Mbappe set to make his first appearance of the new season.

He missed the season-opening Champions Trophy win against Nantes a fortnight ago due to suspension, and then sat out the 5-0 victory at Clermont last weekend with a minor adductor injury.

Meanwhile, Sunday’s scheduled match between Lorient and Lyon was called off because of damage caused to the Brittany side’s pitch by the scorching, dry summer weather in France combined with a Celtic festival held on the surface last week.

Late All Blacks tries beat Springboks to give coach Foster lifeline

Late All Blacks tries beat Springboks to give coach Foster lifeline

New Zealand ended a three-match losing streak with a 35-23 Rugby Championship second-round win over South Africa at Ellis Park in Johannesburg on Saturday.

A last-minute try by lock Scott Barrett sealed victory for the All Blacks after a thriller, and may have saved the job of embattled coach Ian Foster.

Foster has been under fire after five losses in six matches ahead of the Johannesburg showdown, including a 16-point loss to Rugby World Cup champions the Springboks last weekend.

But a much-improved All Blacks side turned the tables after a thriller in which South Africa led by one point with six minutes remaining before conceding two converted tries.

New Zealand recovered from a poor start, with full-back Jordie Barrett knocking on within 40 seconds, to control the early stages.

South Africa suffered an early blow with only 10 minutes gone when groggy winger Jesse Kriel was forced to retire and veteran full-back Willie le Roux came on.

Fortunately for full-back Damian Willemse, there was no score as he sat on the touchline due to a yellow card while a sell-out 61,519 crowd roared on the home side.

The first points in an arm wrestle came on 25 minutes when recalled fly-half Richie Mo’unga slotted a penalty for the visitors.

His successful kick triggered a period of away dominance in which captain and flanker Sam Cane and hooker Samson Taukei’aho scored tries, the second of which Mo’unga converted.

South African concerns
When New Zealand moved the ball wide, winger Will Jordan sent Cane over in the corner for his second try against South Africa.

Taukei’aho then used his strength to power over from close range and this time Mo’unga split the posts with his kick for a 15-point lead five minutes before half-time.

An indication of South Africa’s concerns was a series of the first-half substitutions with hooker Malcolm Marx, prop Steven Kitshoff and No. 8 Jasper Wiese introduced.

The hosts needed to score quickly, and they did with centre Lukhanyo Am diving over and fly-half Handre Pollard converting.

Pollard had not missed a kick at goal in his last two Tests — against Wales in Cape Town and New Zealand in Mbombela — and he maintained his record in first-half added time.

Opting to kick for goal from the halfway line, his kick just made it and as the teams trooped off the field a 15-point New Zealand advantage had been cut to 15-10.

The second half became a thriller with South Africa finally edging in front at 23-21 when Pollard kicked a penalty on 68 minutes.

But intense All Blacks pressure led to tries from centre David Havili and lock Scott Barrett and Mo’unga converted both to get the visitors back on the winning trail.

Wing Makazole Mapimpi was the other Springbok try scorer as Pollard accumulated 13 points from two conversions and three penalties.

The Taliban have reversed the slight advancements gained by women throughout the two decades of US operations in Afghanistan since taking power on August 15 of last year.

About 40 women marched in front of the education ministry building in Kabul while chanting “food, work, and freedom,” but the fighters scattered them by shooting their weapons into the air.

Seven-time winner Messi misses out on Ballon d’Or nomination

Seven-time winner Messi misses out on Ballon d’Or nomination
Seven-time Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi paid a high price for an underwhelming first season with Paris Saint-Germain when he was left off the 30-strong list for this year’s coveted football award.

Lucy Bronze, who was runner-up in 2019, is one of three members of England’s Euro-winning squad to be short-listed for the women’s award.

Messi, who won the title last year, had been an ever-present amongst the nominations since 2006 and a regular feature in the top three since 2007 with the exception of 2018.

But Messi, 35, has missed out on the 2022 award following his switch from Barcelona to the French capital.

download 8 6

A change in the format has also worked against the Argentine superstar with the Ballon d’Or no longer acknowledging the best player over a calendar year.

Instead, it is based on a season’s record highlighting “the individual performances” and the “decisive and impressive character” of the nominees, according to the criteria.

After leaving Barcelona in the summer of 2021, Messi was unable to stamp his genius on a PSG team desperate for a Champions League title.

The French champions suffered a last-16 exit at the hands of eventual winners Real Madrid.

In total, Messi scored only 11 goals for PSG with his relatively indifferent club form failing to impress France Football magazine, the organisers of the Ballon d’Or which will be awarded in Paris on October 17.

PSG teammate Neymar also misses out after a season where he scored 13 goals in 28 matches.

The remainder of the list of nominees throws up few surprises.

French international striker Karim Benzema is the overwhelming favourite after being the architect of Real Madrid’s 14th Champions League title.

He finished the European campaign with 15 goals.

Benzema is likely to become the fifth French winner after Raymond Kopa (1958), Michel Platini (1983, 1984, 1985), Jean-Pierre Papin (1991) and Zinedine Zidane (1998).

In the 2021/2022 season, Benzema scored 44 goals in 46 appearances for a Madrid side who also won the Liga title.

His goal in Wednesday’s 2-0 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt in the European Super Cup took the 34-year-old to 324 goals for the Spanish giants.

That edged him ahead of Raul in the club’s all-time list with only Cristiano Ronaldo in front of him with 450.

“He’s in line for the Ballon d’Or. Is there any doubt? For me, no,” said Real coach Carlo Ancelotti.

Manchester United’s Ronaldo, a five-time Ballon d’Or winner, is nominated again this year.

Benzema is joined on the 30-man list by teammates Thibaut Courtois, Casemiro, 2018 winner Luka Modric, Vinicius and former Chelsea player Antonio Rudiger.

Beaten Champions League finalists Liverpool have seven players nominated, the most of any club.

They are Trent Alexander-Arnold, Luis Diaz, Fabinho, Sadio Mane, since transferred to Bayern Munich, Darwin Nunez, Mohamed Salah and Virgil Van Dijk.

There is a 20-strong list for the women’s Ballon d’Or including English stars Bronze, Millie Bright and Arsenal forward Beth Mead who won the Golden Boot at the women’s Euro.

France have four nominations — Selma Bacha, Kadidiatou Diani, Marie-Antoinette Katoto and Wendie Renard.

Defending champion Alexia Putellas, who was ruled out of the Euros with a last minute injury, and Norwegian star Ada Hegerberg, the first winner of the prize in 2018, are also in the running.

US Department of Justice requests unsealing of warrant for search at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago US

US Department of Justice requests unsealing of warrant for search at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago
US Attorney General Merrick Garland said Thursday he had “personally approved” the dramatic raid on Donald Trump’s Florida estate and, in a highly unusual move, was requesting the warrant justifying the search be made public.

The country’s top prosecutor did not reveal the reason for the unprecedented search of the home of a former US president, and condemned “unfounded attacks” on the FBI and the Justice Department that followed it.

download 5 8

“I personally approved the decision to seek a search warrant,” Garland told reporters in his first public statement since Monday’s raid. “The department does not take such a decision lightly.”

While noting that “ethical obligations” prevented him detailing the basis of the raid, Garland said he had asked a Florida judge to unseal the warrant because Trump had publicly confirmed the search and there is “substantial public interest in this matter.”

Trump, who has a copy of the search warrant but has — so far — declined to reveal its contents, said late Thursday night he would not oppose the unsealing of the warrant.

“Not only will I not oppose the release of documents… I am going a step further by ENCOURAGING the immediate release of those documents,” the former president wrote on Truth Social, the social media site he launched this year.

In another post, Trump repeated his claim that the search was an “unprecedented political weaponization of law enforcement.”

Some analysts had suggested that Garland was effectively daring him to block the motion, given that Trump insisted that the raid was baseless and politically motivated.

Andrew Weissmann, a former Justice Department official, said Garland had “called Trump’s bluff” by putting the onus on the former president to object or consent to release of the document.

The Justice Department motion to unseal the warrant noted — and did not dispute — statements by Trump’s representatives that the FBI was seeking presidential records and potential classified material.

According to US media, the search related to potential mishandling of classified documents taken to Mar-a-Lago after Trump left the White House in January 2021.

The Washington Post on Thursday cited anonymous sources close to the investigation as saying that classified documents relating to nuclear weapons were among the papers sought by the FBI agents during the raid.

The newspaper did not clarify if the nuclear weapons involved belonged to the United States or to another country.

Political firestorm
The FBI raid on Trump’s palatial Mar-a-Lago residence sparked a political firestorm in an already bitterly divided country, and comes as he is weighing another White House run in 2024.

In a statement on his Truth Social platform on Thursday, Trump said his attorneys had been “cooperating fully” and “the government could have had whatever they wanted, if we had it.”

“And then, out of nowhere and with no warning, Mar-a-Lago was raided at 6:30 in the morning,” he said, adding that agents even “went through the First Lady’s closets and rummaged through her clothing and personal items.”

Leading Republicans have rallied around Trump, and some members of his party have harshly denounced the Justice Department and FBI, accusing them of partisanship in targeting the former president.

Garland criticised what he called “unfounded attacks on the professionalism of the FBI and Justice Department agents and prosecutors.”

An armed man was shot dead by police on Thursday after trying to break into an FBI office in Cincinnati, Ohio, police said.

‘Without fear or favour’
The Justice Department typically does not confirm or deny whether it is investigating someone, and Garland — a former prosecutor and judge who has a reputation as a stickler for protocol — took pains to emphasise the law was being applied fairly.

“Faithful adherence to the rule of law is the bedrock principle of the Justice Department and of our democracy,” he said. “The rule of law means applying the law evenly without fear or favor.”

Since leaving office, Trump has remained the country’s most divisive figure and a force in the Republican party, continuing to sow falsehoods that he actually won the 2020 vote.

On Wednesday, the 76-year-old former president was questioned for four hours by Letitia James, the New York state attorney general who is investigating the business practices of the Trump Organization.

Trump is also facing legal scrutiny for his efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 election and over the January 6 attack on the US Capitol by his supporters.

Trump was impeached for a historic second time by the House after the Capitol riot — he was charged with inciting an insurrection — but was acquitted by the Senate.

US, Indonesia and Australia hold live-fire drill amid China tensions

US, Indonesia and Australia hold live-fire drill amid China tensions

Soldiers from the U.S., Indonesia and Australia joined a live-fire drill on Friday, part of annual joint combat exercises on Sumatra island amid growing Chinese maritime activity in the Indo-Pacific region.

A total of more than 5,000 personnel from the U.S., Indonesia, Australia, Japan and Singapore are participating in this year’s Super Garuda Shield exercises, making them the largest since they began in 2009.

The expanded drills are seen by China as a threat. Chinese state media have accused the U.S. of building an Indo-Pacific alliance similar to NATO to limit China’s growing military and diplomatic influence in the region.

download 2 6

The United Kingdom, Canada, France, India, Malaysia, South Korea, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and East Timor also sent observers to the exercises, which began early this month.

The U.S. Indo-Pacific commander, Adm. John C. Aquilino, said the 14 nations involved in the training are signaling their stronger ties as China grows increasingly assertive in claiming virtually the entire South China Sea and holds exercises threatening self-ruled Taiwan.

“The destabilizing actions by the People’s Republic of China as it applied to the threatening activities and actions against Taiwan is exactly what we are trying to avoid,” he said at a joint news conference with Indonesian military chief Gen. Andika Perkasa in Baturaja, a coastal town in South Sumatra province.

“We’ll continue to help deliver a free and open Indo-Pacific and be ready when we need to respond to any contingency,” Aquilino said.

Indonesia and China enjoy generally positive ties, but Jakarta has expressed concern about what it sees as Chinese encroachment in its exclusive economic zone in the South China Sea.

Despite its official position as a non-claimant state in the contested South China Sea, Indonesia has been “dragged along” in the territorial dispute since 2010 after China claimed part of Indonesia’s exclusive economic zone in the northern region of the Natuna Islands, said Connie Rahakundini Bakrie, a security analyst at the University of Indonesia.

The edge of the exclusive economic zone overlaps with Beijing’s unilaterally declared “nine-dash line” demarking its claims in the South China Sea.

At least 11 killed in Montenegro shooting

At least 11 people were killed during a mass shooting in Montenegro’s central city of Cetinje on Friday, the country’s public broadcaster said, in the deadliest violent incident to rock the Adriatic nation in years.

“Eleven people were killed, while six were wounded, including a member of the police,” Montenegro’s public broadcaster RTCG said, adding that the shooter was included in the toll.

A police officer, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, also confirmed the figure to

The incident took place in Cetinje, some 36 kilometres (22 miles) west of the capital Podgorica, after the shooter was involved in a family dispute, according to RTCG.

download 2022 08 12T235642.940

The shooter was later killed after firing at police officers, the broadcaster added, with an unspecified number of children believed to be among the victims killed.

In the shooting’s wake, Prime Minister Dritan Abazovic called on the country to offer support to the families of the victims, saying the incident was unprecedented in Montenegro’s recent history.

“I invite all the citizens of Montenegro to be with the families of the innocent victims,” the prime minister wrote in a post on Telegram.

Montenegro is famed for its picturesque beaches, framed by nearby mountains that have long been a draw for tourists.

Cetinje is the site of the country’s former royal capital and lies in a mountainous valley that has largely stagnated economically in recent decades.

Residents were left in shock in the shooting’s wake.

“I can’t believe that this happened in Cetinje and Montenegro. I do not know what to say, I am speechless. I do not know where this can lead us,” said Cetinje resident Milorad Mitrovic to RTCG.

The incident comes as the country is in the full throes of its highly anticipated tourism high season following two years of the coronavirus pandemic.

With an unemployment rate of some 18 percent and an average monthly salary of under 520 euros ($614), Montenegro counts on tourism and the appeal of some 300 km of azure coastline to boost its revenues.

Holiday destinations such as Budva and Kotor draw big crowds, the latter appearing on the UNESCO world heritage list.

Organised crime and corruption have remained two major issues plaguing the country which authorities have pledged to tackle under pressure from the EU.

Mass shootings, however, have been rare in the Adriatic nation.

Is Iraq’s political chaos spreading to the Kurdistan region?

Is Iraq’s political chaos spreading to the Kurdistan region?

Iraqi Kurdistan, the autonomous zone considered a haven of stability in a war-torn country, has been roiled in recent days by political tensions. A violent crackdown on an anti-government protest last weekend and the arrest of parliamentarians from an opposition party have sparked alarm bells in the region.

download 2022 08 12T235113.671

The northern Iraqi autonomous zone of Kurdistan appears to be catching up with the chaos and political stability that has gripped Iraq since the October 2021 parliamentary elections.

On Saturday, August 6, security forces in Kurdistan fired tear gas and rubber-coated bullets to disperse anti-government protests in Sulaimaniyah. The opposition New Generation party had called for protests in Sulaimaniyah and other cities in the autonomous region to demand better living conditions and for regional elections to be held on the scheduled date.

Six New Generation lawmakers in the federal parliament in Baghdad as well as a local member of the regional parliament were arrested before being released hours later. Forty New Generation members were among the nearly 600 people arrested that day, according to the opposition party.

In addition, “at least 60 journalists were targeted by the police” during the demonstrations, according to the NGO, Reporters Without Borders. Of the 26 journalists arrested, “at least 10 were journalists from the NRT TV station, which is owned by Shaswar Abdulwahid, a businessman and founder of the New Generation party.

The crackdown underscored the tensions in the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), which has been dominated by the rival Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK).

The autonomous region’s Western allies were quick to condemn Saturday’s violence. On August 8, the US embassy in Baghdad expressed its “concern” over the use of violence by the security forces and urged local authorities to “review these actions and reaffirm the vital roles that a free press, peaceful assembly, and the rule of law play in a democracy”.

Following their father’s claim that they have distanced themselves from her, Britney Spears labels her sons’ behaviour as “hateful.”

After her ex-husband Kevin Federline made it known that their sons Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden James, 15, don’t want to be around her, Britney Spears has decided to give her side of the story. Spears said that despite her best efforts to reach out to them, they had chosen to be “hateful” toward her.

the singer of Toxic addressed the issue in an Instagram post that has since been deleted. “I am aware that dealing with teenagers may be challenging… but, come on. Being HATEFUL is a another level of rudeness, she added. “When they came to see me, they would go through the door, go right to their room, and shut the door!”

The monitor would inform Spears that her son simply enjoys spending time in his room. Why should you come see me if they don’t even come see me? In order to avoid being branded as “argumentative,” she continued, she had avoided discussing these instances.

The singer of “Gimme More” became more transparent and admitted to her fans that she occasionally spent more than two days a week with her sons, depending on the situation.

She continued by describing adolescence as a “strange” phase and admitting she could have exerted too much effort to win their affection. I have no idea what’s going on in their thoughts… They stopped coming here because I tried and tried, perhaps! I may have gone overboard trying to make them love me!

Even while Spears said she was “OK” with Preston and Jayden revealing their desire to visit “less,” she thought their request was “quite harsh.” “It’s been kind of lovely not having to ask about which day the boys are coming this week and making me wait two or three days for them,” the “…Baby One More Time” singer continued, “and I’m not comfortable with it. I haven’t seen them since.”

Mexico prepares to begin underground search for trapped miners

Mexican authorities said Friday they were finally in a position to begin searching a flooded coal mine where 10 workers have been trapped for more than a week, offering fresh hope to anguished relatives.

Velazquez said the rescue operation would become possible once “97 percent of the water” has been extracted from the 60-meter (200-feet) deep mine in Agujita in the northern Coahuila state.

“The necessary resources for the search and rescue have been prepared,” she said by video link during President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador’s daily news conference.

The water level in one of the three vertical shafts that rescuers will try to enter has been reduced to 70 centimeters (27 inches), from more than 30 meters initially, Defense Minister Luis Cresensio Sandoval said.

The source went so far as to say that Harry and William’s relationship is “non-existent” as a result of the younger brother’s attacks on the royal family on talk shows like the infamous Oprah Winfrey tell-all.

They’ve attempted to overthrow the monarchy, therefore William has no qualms about stomping on their toes in America, according to the source.

The lovebirds started dating in 2017 but have kept their relationship away from the public eye ever since.

Swift first time talked about her love life with Alwyn without revealing his name in her documentary, Miss Americana, in 2020.

“I was falling in love with someone who had a wonderfully normal, balanced life,” the singer said in the film. “We decided together we wanted our relationship to be private.”

“I was happy. But I wasn’t happy in the way I was trained to be happy. It was happiness without anyone else’s input. We were just happy,” Swift added.

Recently, rumours of their engagement started swirling around the internet when a source close to the couple told The Sun, “They’ve actually been engaged for a few months.”

“But they have only told their inner-inner circle — basically immediate family, and trusted, very old friends. Everyone has been sworn to secrecy, too,” the insider added.

“Taylor has a beautiful ring but she only wears it when she’s at home — i.e. behind closed doors. Again, only a handful of people know details about the wedding,” the outlet shared.

“Taylor hasn’t even told some of her team about the engagement,” the source noted. “They want their love to stay away from the cameras as much as possible. This is just for them.”

Mexico prepares to begin underground search for trapped miners

Mexico prepares to begin underground search for trapped miners

Mexico City Mexican authorities said Friday they were finally in a position to begin searching a flooded coal mine where 10 workers have been trapped for more than a week, offering fresh hope to anguished relatives.

“We have all the conditions to go down there today… to search for and rescue” the miners, civil defense national coordinator Laura Velazquez said.

The other two shafts still have 3.9 and 4.7 meters of water.

Authorities consider 1.5 meters to be an acceptable water level to gain access to the crudely constructed El Pinabete mine.

“In any case, we’re going to continue pumping…. The process is slow but we don’t want to take any risks,” said Velazquez.

Songs, prayers
The announcement provided a new glimmer of hope for families that have become increasingly frustrated with the pace of the rescue operation.

“With that level (of water) you can already enter — God willing,” David Huerta, the brother-in-law of one of the trapped workers, told .

Independence Day – Required Unity

By: Hamid Sultan Dawoodi

Independence Day is a special day of great significance and full of patriotic spirit. The Muslims of India got freedom from the British rule after a long struggle.14 August is celebrated not only as the Independence Day of the country but also to remember this collective spirit, on this day we should not forget that Quaid-e-Azam fought against the British and Hindus to protect Muslims divided on the basis of caste community and set the masses into a nation under a unity.

With his peaceful political struggle, exemplary vision, trust and honesty and the cooperation of the Muslim people, he made possible the establishment of such an independent state, which the British and the Hindu press used to call the head of a madman, but after his death, this nation was once again changed in the crowd. It should be our intellectual thought that the celebration of independence is not just the name of a ritual, but what we have lost and found since independence, our national progress, the speed of development and prosperity, the possible fruits of independence and to account for his efforts in maintaining communal harmony and the integrity of the country.

Independence Day is actually a day of self-accountability. Let us take a pledge today that we will make Pakistan a great country with the same spirit and enthusiasm as we all got the freedom of the country together.

Freedom is not offered as a gift, nor is it obtained by alms, nor by mere worship. Slave nations have to go through centuries of fire and blood to see the sun of freedom. We thank Allah that he created us as free citizens of a free country Pakistan. This is another thing that our forefathers suffered endless sacrifices for this freedom.

A despondent nation that had no resources and no leader was made the owner of the world’s largest empire by a thin and aged but ambitious leader “Muhammad Ali Jinnah”, it is why he is called the Quaid-e-Azam. The fact is that the establishment of Pakistan was a miracle made possible by the efforts of those Muslims who sacrificed their generations, left their wealth belongings, and migrated to Pakistan with the sake of Islam like the refugees of Mecca.

It has been 75 years since Pakistan was formed, today’s generation cannot imagine how many hardships our country endured to get a recognition.

In the partition of Pakistan and India, our Muslims lost their lives, their wealth, their heritage, their honors, just to get this Pak land, on the partition of the subcontinent, the exchange of population or migration between Pakistan and India is all in human history. The Great Migration is said to have taken place and millions were killed or disappeared. Our present generation has no idea about who and how many people migrated from India to Pakistan

The current alarming situation of the dear country is not hidden from the people of thought and view. The concept of tolerance, patience, and unity is disappearing, increasing political, religious and social extremism is becoming a major obstacle in the country’s stability and development. Instead of criticizing a major foreign power at the national level, one should think about how foreign big powers have developed.

What qualities enabled them to lead the world? Don’t our scholars and intellectuals have enough time to think about the reasons for the development of the big states and tell our people that development is not achieved by spreading political hatred, nor by holding rallies and processions against governments.

Rather, the most important thing for the development of any nation is the unity and agreement of its people. This was the spirit that led to the establishment of Pakistan in 1947. The elites and leaders of Tehreek-e-Pakistan launched a political campaign thanks to the full unity and agreement of the Nation of Islam in India, which was ultimately successful and Pakistan came into existence.

As long as the Pakistani nation was working on the principles of unity and faith, this nation continued to move forward despite immense problems. But when our nation abandoned the three golden principles of “faith, unity, organization” mentioned by the founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, disgrace was its destiny.

The only way to progress, success and prosperity of Pakistan lies in national unity. The Pakistani nation has shown unprecedented brotherhood and brotherhood on many occasions, which proves that the spirit of mutual brotherhood and sacrifice is found in the people of this country.

The beloved country of Pakistan has been repeatedly affected by natural calamities, many difficult situations have come upon this country

In Sura (Anfal 8:26) God says, “Remember the time when your number was very few and you were considered weak in the earth. You were afraid at that time that people would take you away.” Then Allah sheltered you, gave you strength with His help, and provided you with good things so that you would be thankful. The truth is that the way to be thankful is in accepting the religion of Allah and establishing the Islamic doctrine.

It is the duty of religious and national leaders to play their role in uniting the Pakistani nation. Poets, writers, etc. It is also important that the intellectuals, teachers and other learned classes to develop the feelings of national love and unity and harmony among the people of Pakistan and to discourage hatred thoughts.

According to reports, Prince Harry has “totally had it” with Meghan Markle’s public relations team and “wants out of the rat race.”This assertion was made by royal commentator Neil Sean on his personal YouTube channel.

He stated, “According to a very good source, Harry wants a thorough clear-out,” there. This might be challenging because many of the individuals in charge of their combined PR had previously come highly recommended by his wife, former actress Meghan Markle.

He said, “It’s never the celebrity’s fault, it’s your fault,” in reference to the blame game. Before coming to a conclusion, it was also mentioned that “who they’re going to hire, who they’re going to keep, and, more significantly, who they’re going to fire” will always be a “war” in the situation.

On demand worries, oil drops $2 but is still expected to rise weekly

image 190 3

Fears of a recession that clouded the demand forecast caused oil prices to decline on Friday in London, but they still appeared to be headed for a weekly gain.

By 1340 GMT, Brent crude futures had down $2.16, or 2.2%, to reach $97.44 per barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude had decreased $2.48, or 2.6%, to reach $91.86.

After falling 14% last week because to concerns that rising interest rates and inflation will harm economic growth and gasoline demand, Brent was expected to rise 3% this week.

The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and the International Energy Agency both expressed opposing opinions on demand, which the market was absorbing (IEA).
